Our software helps staff, agencies, and civic organizations turn raw hearing transcripts into neutral, clear, third-person summaries that are ready for notes, briefings, and bill reports.
Summaries follow a strict third-person, non-advocacy style that reflects only what the witness said, making them suitable for staff notes, legislative documentation, and public records use.
Credits are sold in straightforward one-time packs. Each summary uses a fixed credit amount, so costs remain predictable for both individual users and institutional teams.
We only keep what’s needed to run your account: login information, credit balances, and basic purchase details for billing support. Testimony content is never part of stored records.
Testimony text is used only to create a summary, neither are stored. The content is discarded immediately after processing, and temporary logs are purged.
CivicSummary helps legislative staff, civic groups, and researchers generate neutral summaries of public hearing testimony. Users paste in a transcript of a witness’s remarks, and the system produces a concise, third-person summary suitable for staff notes, bill reports, and meeting records.
Testimony text is used only long enough to generate a summary. It is not stored in our database. After processing, the raw text is discarded and any temporary logs are routinely purged.
The only persistent data we maintain is basic account and billing information needed to operate the service.
We do not store testimony content, summaries, witness names, or user-submitted transcripts. We do not use testimony for marketing, training models, or profiling.
